Hammer Mills FGHM Series

FEEDTECH Grand Hammer Mills are grinder devices for size reduction in a wide spectrum from crushing and coarse grinding to fine grinding in feed mill and associated industries with a high efficiency. Generally applied for dry materials with a bulk density of 0.2-0.8 kg/dm³, our Hammer mills provide a high production flexibility with minimal downtime. They are designed and equipped to grind raw materials into small particles and meal specially to be used in animal feed industry. All the hammer mill series cover capacities ranging from 5–60 tons per hour, depending on type of the raw material, recipe and required grinding structure. Hammer Mill FGHM-Series providing a high capacity, non-vibrating process with pre-screening crumbler plates, designed to achieve excellent results in grinding raw materials for a variety of food, feed and recycling industries.

Different types of Hammer Mills both horizontal and vertical (FHM & FHM) types manufactured by FEEDTECH, provide a complete grinding solution along with pre-bin, feeder, magnet cleaner, discharge hopper, aspiration filter, fan and control system.

According to your need and preference, FEEDTECH designs and manufactures FGHM-Series Hammer Mills in four different types (FGHM-500, FGHM-750, FGHM-1000 & FGHM-1250). Depending on the screen diameter, moisture and type of raw material, FGHM Hammer Mill’s capacity varies 6-60 tons/hour.

Hammer Mill Feeding System

To get the optimum efficiency of grinding, intake should be regularly even and the ground product should be discharged as fast as possible from the grinding chamber. The mechanically driven feeder provides an even feed over the whole width of the mill and the automatic load control controls the feed in proportion to the load on the main motor. The drum type will provide a full load in 10 seconds from start up. It includes a permanent magnet and stone trap, and an auto magnet cleaning device.
